Vineyard: "El Diablo" Vineyard, Russian River Valley

Tasting Notes: A blend of three clones delivers near perfection in the glass. The Wente clone brings intense and concentrated aromas of apple, wet limestone and apricot. Clean and crisp flavors of red apple and pineapple with a nice acidity for body and finish. The Robert Young clone brings a lower acidity rich in peach aromas and lighter texture. The Montrachet clone offers a hint of Muscat and delivers aromas of guava, kiwi and jasmine and pronounced flavors of pineapple, green apple and nectarine.

2014 Viognier

Harvest Date: September 05, 2014
Brix: 26°
Alcohol: 15%
Vineyard: Dry Creek Valley
Price: $55

Tasting Notes: This vineyard was planted with Viognier clones specifically isolated from Northern France. The fermentation and aging in cement pyramids develops the pineapple and apricot aromatics. The stainless steel component lends a very floral aromatic background while the French Oak portion is instrumental in creating soft flavors of vanilla and cream.

2013 “Glorious” Late Harvest Muscat Canelli

Harvest Date: November 01, 2013
Brix: 32°
Alcohol: 15%
Vineyard: Diddle Creek Vineyard
Price: $65
Availability: Limited Production
Tasting Notes: “Glorious” originates from 13th century Latin “Gloria”; marked by grace, beauty and splendor. Made from Muscat Canelli grown on a magnificent site between a walnut grove and a pear orchard, nestled in the foothills where a stream runs year round. Producing a small yield of fruit from the vines allows for maximum maturity, developing the “noble rot” Botrytis. "Glorious” is dedicated in loving memory to my mom, Gloria.
